Through thcjc vartou$ 4ctlvltie$ we are known to be part of, and very much contributjng to, the loc41
community• we •rt h%hly visible, we are a￿￿ev￿g the purposes for whk& we are cstabllthed.
We are Jure that our reputstion ts wwing* and that w¢ Are becomkng more wl&ly vtsible; this is
evidenced by repeat invlt4tion8 to partiapate in wh•t were for us new events lart year which seem to
ve beeome regular commilments; VAamples are, th¢ Bluebdl Service in R￿nnerd￿t, and providing
the music at a 8ervlce ofblessing at the Loweswater Show. A concert we were Invited to perfoTm at In

or8￿d in Mwe kn 2025.
Durfing the reporting perlod we have maintalned a healthy fmandal condition through fund raising
sufftdently to operate without PAnanciai presfjure; we aim to be able to pcrforni for the public benefit
whether or not we are pd for perforniu¥> though w¢ often receive generous don•tioDs.
Our (ath balances enable the Band to continue tr) hire premises to rehearse (eath week th the Quaker
Meeting Room3 and th the Methodtst Church) and store our Id)rary and 4>are instruments, to maintaln
nd in some ca8eJ overhaul the band's Injtruments, to refresh And incre&8e our music library, to buy
In3truments wlwi necessary or de8Arable, to contlnue pD)perty and liabljjty insurance and
memberships of relevant organisations and to be able to afford an inCrea￿d level of other ongothg
operating co$ts such as extrn deanjng and blgher rent and heating bllls.
We maintaln reJerve8 4t a level wbith we belleve would enable us to operate for well over twdve
months no income. It is c￿nIJa1 that we are able to perfomnn whether or not we are pald to do
$0, in fulfihnent ofour ciwitAble purposes. Our cash position is healthy enough that we on- as and
when the need arises. replace unifonns and tnu5iC Stands, acqulre some new or lteond hand
Instnments if rquired for new playern, contlnue the hire of premise5. undertxke a rolling progrdmme
ofinstrument repair and malntenance, provAde workn¥ capital to stage our own events, to refresh ow
library ofmusic and to be prepared for unforeseen contingenLItt.
This year we have been able to add new uniform jackets to replace worn outjackets and for new
members. As with the provision of instruments. unifornis are provided free olcknrge in order to ensilre
that members (xn perfonn with us whatever their finanaal circumstances.

We continue to be solvent and able to meet ow llabih￿es as and when they fall due.
As noted above. the Band ts a Clwitsble Incorporated OrgaDi3ation, with a c0ts8tltutlon whith follows
dosdy thc Clwity Commiwon's recommendedform.
