bèlow, provide benefit both to those who uses our communlty centre and
the widorcommunlty of Lgicester and noighbouring cltle$.
Gr8al Central Community Association is a tharity committed lo the educational
support and providing free complementary education programs for people in
Leicester area. We champion and serve the primary goal advancing the
education of the public in the subjects of English Language, Life in the UK and
several ethnic languages. We strongly believe that this will promote social
friendships and strong interpersonal skills in the future. Only through good
personal re18tionships that requires good language skills, peopie can develop
mental and moral capabilities to achieve their goals in lrfe.
The supp￿rnentary educational support out of school hours which is provided by
our community members and teachers on a voluntary basis act as cwcial
infom)alion and advocacy points for adults as well as children in our region. The
language courses we provide are designed to improve the level of English of
those who struggle to communica*e and educate. Our programs aim for raising
aspirations and engagement that are essenlial components to remove the
language barrier hence reducing failures in the classroom or al work.

We provide a program that is in direct response to the growing number of young
people that are falling lo develop the necessary communication skills because
either they do not have advanced English language skills or understanding of the
culture and social norms in the UK. We focus primarily on young people with the
aim of advancing community development through language and cultural
education. The focus is slightly different al each level but the goal remains the
same.. prepare and empower the young person lo make positive changes in
hislher life.
Our Purposas and Our Airn
Great Central Community Association is being estsblished lo provide
supplementary education, plaee and materials in Leicester area for young
people who are struggling in formal education due lo language baffler. tradition
ete.
Great Central Community Association setup three distinct mentoring programs..
Language courses: Thi5 will focus on developing language skills of young
people who needs additional support in language skills. The language courses
we provide are designed to improve the level of Erolish of young people who
struggle to communicate and educate.
Homework support: Some young people need support due to falling behind in
their studies. Our volunteer teachers provide homework support and mat8riab to
those who are in need of supplgmenlary study support.

Lelsure and sport actlvltles: People at every age group need leisure and sport
activities to develop friendship and social skills that wlll improve their confidence
in Communicating lo others. These extracurricular aclivitses are essential part of
the program lo practice the language and communication skills young people
develop at the classrooms. Sports, along with enhanclng health and fitness,
would enable people especially young people lo use all th8ir senses and by
choosing sports In their lives, young people can not only become physically
stronger bul also emotionally tougher.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the maln
achievements of the charity
during the year
Volunteers are an important resoufce in community work. This year our Charity
ha5 achieved to reach over 3.500 Turkish speaking people in Midlands. This
helped us increase our number of volunteers who then helped us organise and
conduct more charitable and fund-raising activities than last year. Volunteers are
involved in most of our community activities and we have now over 30 people
regularly giving their time.

funds for our charlty.

Businesses are also encouraged lo participate in our fvndraising events that
take place throughout the year.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2025. 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
