Para 1.20 | The charity did not operate in the financial year covered by this report (1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021). On 21 January 2021, the Charity Commission for England and Wales authorised the transfer of assets and liabilities from Enderby Mission Free Church (Unincorporated Charity 1108897) to Enderby Life Church (CIO 1190574) under s105 of the Charities Act 2011 The transfer took place on 1 April 2021, after the end of the current financial year ended 31 March 2021. With effect from 1 April 2021 Enderby Life Church adopted all the activities, objectives, and policies of Enderby Mission Free Church. As such, there is nothing to report under the following headings for the year ended 31 March 2021: • Achievements and Performance (including Additional Information) • Financial Review • (including Additional Information) It is the intention to merge the two charities during the 2021/2022 financial year. This can only be completed once the legal title to the Church property has been updated at the Land Registry and after the financial accounts of Enderby Mission Free Church have been independently examined |

APPOINTMENT OF CHARITY TRUSTEES 11.1 Apart from the first Charity Trustees, every Charity Trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the Spiritual Leadership. 11.2 In selecting individuals for appointment as Charity Trustees, the Spiritual Leadership must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO. 11.3 All Charity Trustees must subscribe and adhere to, in belief, the Statement of Faith. 11.4 The spiritual governance and leadership of the Church Fellowship for the purposes of which the CIO has been established shall remain with the Spiritual Leadership and to the extent to which the Charity Trustees are not synonymous with the Spiritual Leadership their powers shall be confined to the proper management and administration of the CIO in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution and in furtherance of the Objects and in so doing they shall have full and proper regard to the Spiritual Leadership provided always that they shall not act outside their powers as conferred by this Constitution and by general law. |
