The objective of OPSF is to provide financial support for Orleans Primary School in order to enhance the education and welfare of its pupils in line with the School Development Plan and its strategic priorities. All money raised by OPSF will be donated to the School and spent as part of the allocated school funds. Budget spending is in accordance with recommendations made by the Finance &Premises Committee, and agreed, in the course of normal business, by the School’s Board of Governors. The only exception to this is on those occasions when OPSF, in agreement with the School’s Board of Governors, agree to undertake a targeted fundraising campaign. Funds are raised by parents and the school community via JustGiving. To ensure that children and parents involved in fundraising see and experience the benefits of the money raised, OPSF makes regular (monthly) transfers to the school bank account. Gross funds raised from the opening of the fund in 2018 to the end of the financial year, 2 September 2021, were £28,026. £24,000 was donated to Orleans Primary School, and £1,280.95 was spent on banking and transaction fees. Signature: Date: **06.10.2021** **Date Completed - Wednesday the 6th of October 2021** ## **Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of Orleans Primary School Foundation (OPSF)** I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the OPSF (the Trust) for the period 2nd of November 2018 to 2nd of September 2021. ## **Responsibilities and basis of report** As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records. I have no unanswered concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. ## **Observations** I did however make the following observations regarding the accounts during the examination: - It was necessary to prepare the period accounts as none had been provided, however there were no concerns raised about the bookkeeping upon the completion of this. - Trustees Annual Report was not available.
