Organisational structure
The charity truslees are responsible for the organisation's overall
managemeiit and control. The Irustees volunteer their time arid yet no
financial compensation or incentives. As per the trust's governing
doGuments, the trustees meet as a group to discuss the trust's su¢Gess.

Over the past four years, the team at Mothers of Afghanistan (MOA) has
dedicated its entire efforts to work underground to help the needy,
orph3ns and widows of Afghanistan. Tha young, innocent children of this
war-torn country have known nothing but conflict Iheir entire lives.
At this very moment, Ihe situation for children in Afghanistan has become
even more dire, with at least 75,000 civilians having had to flee their
homes in the last months amid esGalating violence. Even before Ihe
Taliban takeover, Afghanistan was crippled by hunger and poverty., as
COVID-19, conflict, and drought, all combined created an unanticipated
Crisis of a scale not previously seen.

Delivered food packages to more than 1000 families.
Built 4 Masjid & Madaris.
Sponsored more than 300 orphans {students}.
Built a orphanage in Jalalabad (still under conslruction).
Donated 1 K for school equipment in Kabul.
Introduced sewing cla88es for girls to enabl& them to acquire lif
long skills through which they may be able to sustain themselves
and their families
Built 5 new water wells providing safe and clean drinking water to
the local communities.
Transferred more than 100 displaced families to go back to their
provinces.
And through these programs we have managed to, bènefit hundreds of
families in Kabul, Jalalabad, Paktika and many other areas so, Ihat we
can continue to invesl in this life.

**Respective** The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. **responsibilities of** The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year **trustees and examiner** under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. 

It is my responsibility to: 

   - examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, 

   - to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and 

   - to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. 

- **Basis of independent** My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given **examiner’s statement** by the Charity Commission.  An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.  It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.  The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. 

## **Independent** In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention **examiner's statement** (other than that disclosed below *) 

1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements: 

   - to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; and 

   - to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act

2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

The total amount sent for the year ended 31 July 2021 was £58,070.71. Trustees transferred monies through money transfer entities in the UK under their own name. According to the trustees due to the lack of banking facilities there was no other method/mode to transfer the funds in  to finance projects/activities in Afghanistan.
