which up to 9000 people were buried between 1899 and 1955. The charity also
undertakes research into and education about the lives of those buried there -
seeking to trace relatives and descendants and promote a Book of
Remembrance containing all the names. The Charity will also continue the
research relating in particular to the lives of women buried in the Cemetry
informing of the climate for women in the period of Emily Davison’s struggle for
