Over I billion chickens art famjcd for meat in the UK eve]). year. These particular chickens are known as'broilers,. The vast maiority
ot. them dre kept in conditions which bad for thei-. welfa￿.
BroileT ¢liickens l)ave almost no space to rnove around. Typically, lens of thousands of birds are kepi inside a single indwr barn for
