Realise will develop a comprehensive Risk Strategy and Risk Map at the point we begin to secure income, engage and recruit member organisations and undertake activities, including securing and distributing income to members, and building member capacity through training, development and administrative support and other services in line with our Charitable Objects.
Objectives and activities for the public benefit
Our objectivities are:
- to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and the effective use of charitable resources for the benefit of the public by the provision of services to
organisations supporting young people aged 8-28 in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
- to advance in life and help young people aged between the ages of 8 and 28 living in Nottingham and the surrounding area (the area of benefit)by providing support and advice which develops their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate fully in society as independent, responsible individuals.
Activity
Realise undertook no charitable activity during the year due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Financial Overview
There was no financial activity during the year ending 31.3.21. Realise did not generate or receive any income or incur any expenditure during the year as set out in Form CC16a.
Plans for the Future
Our plans for the future are to launch Realise as an effective and innovative community-led consortium of agencies working to support and benefit young people at risk in Nottingham and surrounding areas by recruiting members, securing grants and contracts on behalf of our members, employing staff and building the capacity of member organisations to deliver high quality youth provision in line with the Nottingham Youth Charter.
We plan to deliver our objectives by working in partnership with the local Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) and Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners, Nottingham City Council, Health and VCS Partners and our local communities.
