**Objects:** THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO ARE:TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE YORKSHIRE COAST AND RYEDALE AREA, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:(A) THE PROVISION OF A FORUM TO DISCUSS, RESPOND TO AND RAISE ISSUES OF INTEREST AND CONCERN TO THE DISABLED COMMUNITY.(B) AND THE EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT OF OTHER ORGANISATIONS, BUSINESSES AND THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

**Activities:** The Yorkshire Coast & Ryedale Disability Forum is raising awareness of issues that affect disabled people in the area, with the local authority, County Council and NHS service providers. It is developing both a website and Facebook page as well as approaching other disabled peoples organisations to join us.
