## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

ZAHDIP UK is a registered charity governed by its Trust Deed and UK charity law. The Trustees are responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and financial oversight of the charity. The Trustees meet regularly to review finances, operations, and programme delivery. 

## **Objectives and Public Benefit** 

The charity exists to relieve hearing disability and improve access to hearing care services, particularly for disadvantaged communities in Zambia. The Trustees confirm they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 

## **Activities and Achievements** 

During the year, the charity raised funds in the UK and provided financial grants to support hearing care activities in Zambia. The charity continued its transition to an enabling-access model, working alongside local partners to strengthen sustainability and donor confidence. 

## **Financial Review** 

The charity prepared its accounts on a Receipts and Payments basis. Total income for the year was £7,087.04 and total expenditure was £7,052.12, resulting in a small surplus of £34.92. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

The Trustees aim to maintain a modest reserve to ensure continuity of charitable activities. Funds carried forward will support ongoing programme delivery. 

## **Trustees’ Responsibilities** 

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
