The Clubs, fundraising has been severely impacted due to the absolute of lack of volunteers. The Club was reduced to five able Lions with little support from elsewhere. The Club ran severdl media events calling for new memberfs, unfortunately to no avail. During the first six months of 2025 it became clear that the Club was no longer sustainable. After much deliberation the Club decided to disband and in doing so disperse the remaining funds to charitable institutions well known to Oswestry onS. through donations that will provide substantial benefits to those in need for some time. Examples are shown below without limitation. Some examples.. charitable institutions; local hospita Is, adult Hospice, children's end of life hospice, Youth Special need5 facility. The Arts; Youth theatre learning LAMDA standard, Duke of Edinburgh award for students. School academie5 and sports facilities. School bursaries OSWESTRY LIONS CLUB STRUCTURE. At the time of writing The Club has 4 active members. The Club administration costs are financed solely by its members, all monie5 raised or donated from the public are dispersed to charitable, good causes.
