Wirral Foodbank Plus of Unit 14, Wirral Business Centre, Dock Road, Birkenhead, CH41 IJW is
registered with the Charity Commissioners (No 1190395) and constituted as a Charitable
Incorporated Organisation on 14 July 2020.
Charitable operations commenced on I September 2020.

The object of the charity 1S to promote any charitable purpose for the public benefit by the
advancement of and protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and
distress for the benefit ot.the Wirral community and surrounding areas.
During the year the charity employed advisors to work with the beneficiaries of Wirral Foodbank,
providing advice on benefits, debt management and home finances.
In planning our activities for this year and fulure years we keep in mind the Charity Commission's
guidance on public benefit. The Charity continues to constitute a public benefit entity-

Independent Examiners Report
for the year ended 31 August 2022
I report to the Trustees of Wirral Foodbank Plus on the accounts for the year ended 31 August
2022 set out on pages 3 to 4.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accor(Lqnce
with the requiremenls of ihe Charilies ALL 2011 ('Ihe Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of
the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable directions
given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material i]]atters have come to my attention
in connection with th¢ examination Mihich giN'¢ in¢ cause to believe that in any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act, or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination
to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to
be reached.
