## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT JANUARY 2022 HAY JUMPING JACKS AFER SCHOOL CLUB REGISTERED CHARITY NUMBER 1190393 

Hay Jumping Jacks After School Club was registered as a charity on 14/07/2020. 

The club is located in Hay-on-Wye Primary School and held in the Sports/Dining Hall. 

The objectives of the charity are- 

- To promote the benefits of the attendees of Hay –on Wye Primary School and surrounding schools by providing a facility for daily after-school care for children aged 4-11 years. 

- The charities' main aim is to support parents/guardians who are working by providing safe, quality, affordable childcare run by qualified professionals on their local Primary School site. 

The charity seeks to make good quality, flexible childcare accessible to all parents using the school.

Communication and social skills are developed throughout the daily sessions. Children are encouraged to build new relationships and to build confidence through meeting other children. 

Craft activities, cooking, football,cricket and various other acitivities are on offer. 

## STAFF 

All staff are obliged to complete the following courses- 

- Safeguarding/Child Protection 

- Paediatric First Aid (2 day course) 

- Paediatric First Aid (1 day course) 

- Food hygiene 

All staff have NVQ Level 3 qualifications. 

## COVID 19. 

Under the current Covid 19 regulations, we are striving to provide an as normal as possible environment for the children. 

- Regular hand washing 



- Use of hand gel 

- Staff to wear masks 

- Regular cleaning of toys 

- Children play in their class bubbles. 

Throughout this difficult time, we have endeavored to make the club a safe, secure and enjoyable place for all children. 

The well-being of all who attend is of paramount importance to us.
