**Objects:** THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE RNCDA IS THE PROMOTION OF EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN BY THE PROVISION AND SUPPORT OF FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE EFFICIENCY AND WELL-BEING OF SERVICE PERSONNEL. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY:3.1 MAINTAINING CONTACT BETWEEN SERVING AND FORMER SERVING MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH BY PROVIDING SOCIAL GATHERINGS.3.2 FOSTERING ‘ESPRIT DE CORPS’, COMRADESHIP AND THE WELFARE OF THE BRANCH.3.3 PRESERVING THE TRADITIONS OF THE BRANCH, INCLUDING THE PRACTICES OF UNDERSTATEMENT, HUMILITY AND MODESTY AND PERPETUATING ITS DEEDS.3.4 CELEBRATING AND MAINTAINING THE MEMORY OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE RNCDA WHO HAVE ‘CROSSED THE BAR’(DIED).3.5 PROMOTING RNCDA GATHERINGS AND THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN SERVING AND FORMER SERVING MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH.
