As an expression of the Islamic faith, the object of CIO is the relief and prevention of poverty in Liverpool in particular but not exclusively by the provision of practical advice, food, basic essentials items and support in accessing services.

Liverpool Muslim Outreach Society serves the most diadvantaged in society through its Asylum food distribution, food parcel distribution, homeless feeds, food bank donations and clothing distribution, whilst ensuring that any such activity is carried out aginst a backdrop of interfaith cooperation and inclusivity.
