The Trust was estèb1￿hed on 28 November 2019 as a voluntary group. It was registered as a Charttable
Incorporated Organisation ICIOI with The Chartty Commission in England on 9 July 2020. This is the fifth

All Trustees have been in post throughout the year except where stated. They have met at regular
intervals throughout 2024125 and have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on
public benefrt published by The Charity Commission in exercising their dLrties.
The objert of the Trust is to purchase. hold and maintain the 5.84 acre field known as Trull Meadow.
Taunton. Somerset for the use and benefit of the local communty, this object being achieved via an
appe31 to the community to raise the necessary fvnding for the purchase and ongoing maintenance.
In the Trust's first year of operation the purchase was completed on 9 January 2021 in the sum of
£150,000 plus legal costs. Fund raising had commenced in March 2020 but was severely hampered by
the Covid 19 pandemic in the UK which inevitably slowed fundra￿Ing artwtty. The Tnjstees also
appealed for interest-free loans from well-wishers to underwrite the purchase: all such loans were
repaid by the Balance Sheet date.
Since acquisition a sub group. The Friends of Tnjll Meadow, has been formed and has begun to carry out
maintenance work and improvements in the Meadow. On CoMpl￿10n of purchase the Trustees were
pleased to receive a grant of £15,526 in 2023124 from Trull Parish Council. which sum has been applied
to immediate improvements to the Meadow's facrltties. The Trustees were please(I to receive
commercial sponsorship duringthe 2024125 from Me55rs Robert Cooney of Taunton.
The Trust has no specific reserves at present. Any future reserves will be modest and related to the
maintenance requirements of the Meadow.
The Tfustees are grateful to Mr Peter Nott for acting as Independent Examiner to the Trust.
