The Igbo Women Association Nottingham (IWAN) main objectives are centred on promoting unity,female empowerment, progress and cultural interation among communities with cultual dance. We engage in supporting the needy and vulnerable for example we are one of the first group that donated food and some essentials to the ITU, Covid wards during the pandemic. We also donated money for cancer research

Objects: To Provide Or Assist For The Benefit Of The Public In General Who Are Resident In Nottingham, Nottinghamshire And England And Wales Generally, In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life
