Marchant Actvity Building on previous years’ activity, the Trustees engaged variously in dialogues relating to actual and prospective initiatives at sub-regional, regional and national levels involving the promotion of natural sciences in personal, social and economic development. These dialogues focused on the collaborative use of resources as it is the Trustees’ belief that this is essential to the construction and operation of sustainable initiatives at any level. The charity’s principal contribution to the dialogues and planned collaboration has been the Trustees’ ability to connect separate policies and strategies into combined measures, effectively bringing nonprofit and unpaid expertise into project frameworks.
The Trustees also continued to build awareness of the opportunities offered by collaborative projects to attract support from individuals and organisations with a commitment to social investment. In this connection, previous years’ work on the assessment of financial and operational/management probity has proved itself in that putative supporters (benefactors, sponsors, etc.) can be assured that none of their funds will be misused or wasted.
Finance The Trustees are committed to meet privately all costs associated with the charity’s governance and the development of collaborative activities. Accordingly, no income or reportable expenditure occurred in the year.
