pandemic,
the
activities
were
mainly
concentrating
around
the
administrative tasks such like setting up the foundation, opening bank
accounts, agreeing on investment strategy, and considering which
causes it would be appropriate to support and how to go about choosing
them.
All tasks were carefully considered to prepare the Foundation to make
meaningful donations to chosen charities as soon as possible.
The Trustees take a prudent view regarding the investment of surplus
funds. The Trustees have considered the most appropriate policy for
investing funds and Ruffer LLP were chosen to be the Foundation’s
investment management company. The first £50,000 was invested on 4
August 2020. Ruffer seek to be responsible investors, fully integrating
environmental,
social
and
corporate
governance
issues
into
their

**charity’s policy on reserves**|| ||Patricia Mary Killen (known as Tricia) died on 14 September 2014
intestate. The Foundation was established in her name and received the
initial gift of £200,000 on 31 July 2020, based on Deed of Variation.
Trustees have decided that the foundation’s unrestricted reserves should
be kept no lower than £5,000.
The Trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties related to
events or conditions that cast significant doubt upon the Charity's ability
to
continue
as
a
going
concern.
The
Trustees
have
made
this
assessment for a period of at least one year from the date of approval of
the accounts. In particular the trustees considered the Charity's budget
