Para 1.20 | The main activities of the club have been the continuance of fundraising by means of the Hastings Half Marathon and bucket collections. This year we have donated £42,910 to good causes. The majority of donations have gone to local good causes but we still support certain national and international requests. Some of the major beneficiaries are listed below: Albany Taxi Charity Fairlight War Memorial YMCA Young Lives Cancer Hastings Music Festival St Johns Church Blacklands Church Prostate Charity Bags of Taste Blind Bowlers Hastings Foodbank Care for the Carers Glyn Gap School Westfield Playgroup Three Oaks Village Hall St Leonards Bowls Club Sea Cadets Snowflake Organisation SANDS Charity Westerleigh Judokwai WCA Productions Hastings & St Leonards Sailing Club 1066 Kids Club Hastings Furniture Service And a variety of individual small grants to local individuals and organisations supporting disabled, disadvantaged and youth and National and International appeals for disaster relief. |
