Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: To Promote The Conservation Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment For The Public Benefit By:-- Supporting The Protection And Recovery Of The Environment From Climate Change;- Supporting The Amelioration Of The Detrimental Effects Of Climate Change In Order To Benefit All Life And Nature On Our Planet;- Supporting The Gradual Elimination Of The Causes Of Climate Change To Ensure The Continuation Of Life On Our Planet;- Encouraging And Supporting New Developments, Inventions, Innovations, Projects, Companies, Community Charities, Start-Up Companies And Individuals In Their Endeavours, Objectives And Plans To Eliminate Climate Change.;- Converting Businesses To Green Energy To Support The Amelioration Of The Environment Due To The Effects Of Pollution Affecting Climate Change;- Supporting The Government’s Efforts To Combat Climate Change;- Enabling Schools, Colleges, Universities And The Public To Access Current Knowledge Regarding The Causes And Effects Of Climate Change On The Environment, Coupled With How Individuals Or Groups Can Support The Efforts To Combat Climate Change;- Enabling Access To Current Technology, New Developments And Innovations Concerning The Elimination Of The Detrimental Effects Of Climate Change And Link All Interested Parties In Their Efforts To Combat Climate Change. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
