generally and in particular but not exclusively, music, dance, speech

**Objectives generally:**
• to organise live performing arts events that introduce the public to
new and emerging performing artists and artists who defy easy
categorisation;
• to commission new writing and making of performing arts works;
• to arrange educational workshops, lectures and debates;
• to commission research into performing arts related fields;
• to work with groups and individuals who support the aims of the
charity;|

||**Overview**
All our existing trustees are in regular employment, we therefore have
limited time and opportunity to progress the charity. However, we
continue to work towards the realisation of our charitable objects.
**Meetings**
The trustees have met regularly during the year to plan the development
of the charity.
**Trustees and Patrons**
We continue to search for and recruit patrons who can help us develop
and promote the charity.
**Memberships**
SKAPA has registered membership with both Metro GAVS and
Community Southwark. Trustees have attended Community Southwark
training sessions.
**Guidance**
All trustees have been issued with a copy of Charity Commission
Guidance document PB1,Public benefit,thepublic benefit requirement.|
