Since registration on 3[rd] July 2021 the trustees have met online monthly in order to organise management of the charity, to set up an online presence, and to consider how and what kinds of activities and events to organise and support in the future. We have set up a bank account at CAF Bank, this opened in December 2020.

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

We have set up a website at skapa.org.uk, this in memory of Simon King in whose name the charity was formed. We have added a timeline to the website featuring excerpts from Simon’s career in music making, theatre and composition. The timeline has received substantial contributions from friends of Simon. We have also set up social media presences on Facebook and Instagram.

We have met with another charity with the intention of working with them on future projects. SKAPA is leading this collaboration and following this initial meeting we have compiled a shortlist of projects for the short, medium, and long-term.

We have set up a Friends of SKAPA group. We have set up a ‘Trello’ site to facilitate teamwork and share project information.

We have made one grant application.

We are compiling a database of charities and other organisations with whom we would like to work.

All trustees have been issued with a copy of Charity Commission Guidance document PB1, Public benefit, the public benefit requirement.
