## **Trustee Annual Report 2023** _Name:_ Henley-in-Arden War Memorial Trust CIO _Charity number_ : 1190244 _Names of Trustees_ : see attached document The Charity operates two facilities: - A local sports ground with facilities for football, cricket, tennis, bowls, table tennis, rifle shooting and provides a site for the local Scouts hut. - The village hall (known as the Memorial Hall) The sports ground and the hall each has a manager and a management committee made up primarily of Trustees. Each has a separate bank account (both current and deposit) operated by the Trust Treasurer. Trustees are recruited from the local community and from the sports clubs. In 2022-23 the Trust had a combined total income of £32,162 and a combined expenditure of £34,787; the deficit was funded by reserves in the deposit accounts. The main costs are incurred in the maintenance of the sports field but we are receiving some practical assistance with this in the forthcoming months so we should not incur a deficit.
