1.1 Legal Status
The District is governed by its cons�tu�on and is under the jurisdic�on of The Interna�onal Associa�on of Lions Clubs, Oak Brook, Illinois, USA.
The CIO Founda�on was registered on 29[th] June 2020 under registra�on number 1190158.
The Trustees may invest any monies required to be invested in or upon the security of such stocks, funds, shares, securi�es or other investments for the �me being authorised by law for the investment of trust monies with power to the trustees to vary such investments for others of a like nature.
1.2 CIO Founda�on
The prime func�on of the CIO Founda�on has been to receive dona�ons raised by clubs and

Responsibilities and basis of report As Ihé d7arity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance wth the requirements of the Charities Acl 2011 {'the Act.). I report in respect of my examination of the Trusfs accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in catrying out my examination, I have followed all the apICable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145{5)(bl of the Act. Independent examinerfs statement I have completed my examination.
