1.1 Legal Status
The District is govemed by its constitution and is under Ihe jurisdiction of The Intemational Association of Lions
Clubs,Oak Brook, Illinois. USA.
The CIO Foundation was registered on the 29kn June 2020 under registration number 1190 15 8.
The Trustees may invest any monies required to ￿ invested in or upon the secunty of such stocks, funds, Sha￿S.
securities or other investments for the time being authorised by law for the investment of trust monies with power
lo the trustees to vary such investments for others of a like nalure.
1.2 CIO Foundation
The prime function of the CIO Foundation has been to recwve donations raised by clubs and to distribute the income
lo various ilentthed beneficiaries.
Details of receipts, from contributions. fees and other sources. and payments are given in Appendix 1 that
accompanies this report.
