2. Statern•nt •xplainlng th• pollcy for holdlng r•seMs gtatlng why th•y are hold
The Charity has not yet cited a policy on reseNes for unrestricted funds. This is due to the
uncertain and variable levels of receipts into the Charity's unrestricted funds, as well as th8
relatively srnall proportion they take up in the Charity's overall financial p)sition. The budget
for ne￿ year, to be presented at the Annual General Meeting. will seek to retain reserves in
the General Fund at two months of annual recurrent expenditure.
3. Amount <rf res•Thes held
The General Fund has (xsh equNalerrt to approximately Iwo months of anNJal recurrent

The Charity is Fxudent about the activities it undertakes and reco9nises thal its income Ilow
is nec￿SarilY uncertain. Committed expenditure is managed appropriately; for example the
Debt Centre project is being funded in three-year perK#ts afKI the employment contracts of
managers are therefore set up for equtvalent ts'me-frames. This flexbility together with
budgetary wnlrol 6hould enable to Charity to expand or rJ)ntract its activities without
