The charity is established to support children and young people in Cottingham and the surrounding East Yorkshire area who are affected by serious illness, disability, or long-term health conditions, by providing financial assistance, practical support and specialist equipment, respite breaks and other needs that improve quality of life for both the child and their family.
Objects: (1) To Promote The Relief Of And Support To Children (Including, But Without Limitation, Riley Louie Watkins Who Was Born On 21 March 2012) And Young People Suffering From Moyamoya Disease And/or Hypothalamic Hamartoma (Or Both) And Their Families;(2) To Fund Medical Treatment, Operations And Equipment For Children (Including, But Without Limitation, The Said Riley Louie Watkins) And Young People Suffering From Moyamoya Disease And/or Hypothalamic Hamartoma (Or Both);(3) To Provide Funds To Charitable Organisations Which Provide Assistance To Children And Young People Suffering From Moyamoya Disease, Hypothalamic Hamartoma And Other Rare Conditions And Which Offer Support To The Families Of Such Children Or Such Young People;(4) To Raise Public Awareness And Knowledge In Matters Relating To Moyamoya Disease And Hypothalamic Hamartoma Affecting Children And Young People; And(5) To Promote And Fund Research Into The Causes, Diagnosis, Alleviation, Prevention, Treatment And Cure Of Moyamoya Disease And Hypothalamic Hamartoma Affecting Children And Young People And To Publish The Useful Results Of Such Research.
