## **FORMATION OF THE CHARITY** 

Platform7Teen was registered as a Charity by the Charity Commission on 23 June 2020 

## **OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY** 

Unlocking the ambition and potential of young people, enabling them to reach their future aspirations. Charity Mission -Equipping young people with the tools and confidence to develop their personal, social and employability skills, through 

the delivery of high-energy experiential coaching 

.

## **TRUSTEES REPORT** 

The charity delivered 26 workshops through secondary education establishments in the Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex region. The charity also workshops to over 1000 attendees of NCS summer camps in Kent. However with the labour government cutting this initiative this work by the charity will not be carried out in 2025. A second major donor came onboard during 2024, however due to another cut by the labour government the other major donor has had to withdraw their support for 2025. Reserves remain solid and with continued fundraising it is anticipated that there will be a 20% increase in the number of workshops delivered. 

A young person Mia le Stari was welcomed onto the board of trustees to support the charities social media initiatives and to be an “advocate” of young adults who receive and benefit from the services delivered by Platform7teen.

## **BASIS OF ACCOUNTING** 

These  financial  statements  have  been  prepared  under  the  historical  cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant notes to these accounts. 

The  accounts  have  been  prepared  in  accordance  with  the  Statement  of Recommended Practice:  Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014 and in accordance with the Charities Act 2011. 

No changes have been made to accounts for previous years. 

## **TRUSTEES** 

No payments have been made to the charity’s trustees, or people connected with them, from the charity during the year to 30 JUNE 2024. 

## **ENDOWMENT AND RESTRICTED FUNDS** 

The charity has no endowment or restricted funds

The charity has no employees.
