## **Objectives and Activities** 

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:-- (1) PROVIDING RELIEF FOR FULL TIME CARERS ACROSS ENGLAND, THROUGH DELIVERING TEMPORARY INSTITUTIONAL CARE FOR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR) PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM HUNTINGTONÆS DISEASE OR JUVENILE HUNTINGTONÆS DISEASE (PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM OTHER ILLNESSES THAT REQUIRE FULL TIME CARE CAN BE CATERED FOR IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE); AND (2) TO PROVIDE SAFE AN ENJOYABLE MEETING PLACES ACROSS ENGLAND WHERE ANYONE IMPACTED BY HUNTINGTONÆS DISEASE OR JUVENILE HUNTINGTONÆS DISEASE (SUFFERERS, FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND CARERS) CAN GO TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND GET PROFESSIONAL ADVICE THROUGH IN PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY DROP IN SESSIONS, COFFEE MORNINGS AND OTHER SOCIAL EVENTS. 

Over the last 12 months we have continued to raise awareness of Huntington’s Disease through presentations at business network events along with the various fundraising events and social media promotions and activities. We have started our HD Coffee mornings as well as meet ups outside of the coffee mornings for those impacted by HD. Fundraising has included Launch Dinner Dance, Sponsored events (Walks, Skydives), Lucky Numbers and Charity golf tournament. 



**Achievements and Performance** 

We have over 1000 followers on our Facebook Page and 300 on our Instagram page. We continue to raise as much as we can and will continue to do so moving forward with the aim of being in a position to start providing respite care in 2024.
