The church has two funds from which to make grants.
Para 1.38
Policy on grant making 1) Gospel partnership fund - this is used to give money
to support other people and organisations in the UK
and across the world in their mission to make
disciples of all nations. Church members may apply
to this fund if they require help to fund themselves
doing something like this - e.g. serving on a summer
camp. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis, but
the Trustees have particular regard to anyone serving
with one of our mission partners, or in our 5 mission
priority areas.
2) Benevolent fund - open to church members and
people in the community who are in need of short-
term financial help. This fund is also used to pay
summer camp fees for children or young people
when they would otherwise struggle to afford it.
Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis
by the Trustees.

As a church, we rely on many church members to

those who continue to serve Jesus and his people in the
church here.
We are especially grateful to the volunteers who have
worked hard to move our services online, and who run
the Sunday live-stream each week.
While many of the church’s formal ministries have been
paused this year, lots of people have made effort to
keep in touch with those who would normally attend
those groups - running online catch ups, delivering
cards, flowers, craft bags and other things around to
people.
The CIO was delighted to appoint Mrs Hincks and Mr
Other Uitterdijk as Trustees in September. The church is
especially grateful to Mrs Hincks for serving as the
treasurer and overseeing the church’s accounts and
finances.

We are grateful for how the Lord has sustained us
through a difficult year, and enabled us to serve those
around us.

We have welcomed 4 new church members, and held
funerals for 3 church members in the past year,
supporting their families before and afterwards.
Many volunteers have worked extremely hard to
maintain contact with people who would usually access
our groups and find out more about the Christian faith.
With the exception of the monthly craft night, which has
successfully transitioned online, it has been extremely
difficult to translate these other groups to online
gatherings, but volunteers have worked hard to be
creative in keeping in touch with these people in other
ways.
Around Christmas time the church distributed 1500
copies of John’s gospel, inviting people to attend our
online Christmas events and read the gospel to find out
more about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. Many
people watched those events live online, or afterwards.
The church has given out a few food parcels and a small
amount of financial help to people in the area in need.
