|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During the year we delivered 46 events /<br>activities to support local green spaces and help<br>connect people with nature in their local area.<br>Activities and events have included:<br>- Red Kite awareness campaign advising<br>residents not to feed Red Kites - including<br>targeted door-to-door leaflet dropping and an art<br>trail across Wallingford<br>- maintenance activity and social events at two<br>community orchards in public green spaces in<br>residential areas - including our first wassail in<br>January 2025<br>- community engagement and outreach activities<br>during Great Big Green Week and a stall on the<br>Kine Croft at the Wallingford Carnival<br>- “greening Wallingford” initiative installed two<br>large planters with multi-stem trees and<br>pollinator-friendly planting and replanted a border<br>in a town centre cut-through<br>- supported Wallingford Town Council’s entry in<br>RHS Britain in Bloom competition (awarded the<br>Community Involvement award for a second year<br>running) and entered into RHS It’s Your<br>Neighbourhood for the Wantage Road / Sinodun<br>Road corner verge, building on last year’s<br>successful first entry<br>- spring-flowering bulb planting on Castle Street<br>verge<br>- wildflower patch maintenance in the Bull Croft<br>- became a “Community Partner” of Ayres House<br>Studios, supporting improvements to their garden<br>- produced a 5-year impact report celebrating our<br>achievements from registration in 2020<br>We have grown the mailing list for our monthly e-<br>newsletter and have an increased number of<br>Facebook followers.|

We have also secured<br>some unrestricted donations.  Our payments<br>were higher than our receipts but this was mainly<br>due to an 18-month grant that cut across the<br>reporting period.|
