Para 1.38 | The club is run, and activities organised and led, entirely by volunteers. Volunteers have support the club by serving on the committee, coaching members, providing safety cover, organising events and supporting sessions. They have also helped to improve the local environment by participating in removal of invasive Himalayan Balsam. Assisted Bedfordshire Bat group with river bat surveys. |
| Other | Several planned litter picks were unable to take place this year due to high river levels. We intend to resume this work next year, subject to river conditions |

Coached sessions were run throughout the year on multiple days of the week. Indoor paddle skill sessions were run during the winter months. Organised two slalom competitions and one regional marathon competition. Held come and try-it sessions for the general public including during the Bedford River Festival. Supported volunteers with coaching and leadership training and assessment. |
