The Trustees present their annual report, together with the financial statements of The Great Divine Holy Order
of the Third Era, for the period ended March 27, 2024.

The charills objectives are the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith by
any means whatsoever including but not limited to the preaching and proclamation of the Christian Gospel. and
the- ￿aChing of Christian doclrine, Ihe prevention or relief of poverty by such means as the Trustees may from
lime lo time think fil, and lo advance Christian ethics and morality by such means as Ihe Trustees may from time
lo time.
In setting objectives and planning activities, the Trustees have given due consideration to the general guidan
published by the Charity Commission on public benefit. including the guidance 'Public benefit.. running a charity
{PB21'.
• Strategies for achieving objectives
1. We have held a range of themed, personal development and empowering virtual seminars, facilitated by
professional members sharing wisdom and engaging in inspiring discussions on a variety of topics, including but
not exclusive lo,. Career, Finance, Spiritual and Physical Development, Mental health. Children with special
needs, Marriage Inslilulion, and Parenting
2. These events have been an opportunity to welcome both existing church members and those from the wider
ommunity alike.
3. We have welcomed a range of topics and questions from the congregation to our midweek Bible study
classes, promoting private and collective study of His Word, as well as enriching, Ihoughl-provoking and inspiring
group discussions, as we seek to discover God's truth on the matters raised.
4. We have held a range of themed, personal development and empowering virtual seminars, facilitated by
professional members sharing wisdom and engaging in inspiring discussions on a variety of topics, in¢luding-but
not exclusive lo.. Career, Finance. Spiritual and physical developmenl. Mental health. Children with special
needs, Marriage Inslilution. and Parenting.
5. We host 'The Family Fun Day,. where church members inlera¢l with our Local community. families, and
friends. Sports, games, and Lecture series were carried out.
These events have been an opportunity lo welcome both existing church members and those from the wsder
community alike.

As a Church, we have donated and contributed to many diverse charities that empower the vulnerable and those
in challenging circumstances, especially in this unprecedented season, whilst continuing lo encourage and reach
out lo ils members, providing financial and practical support where required.

Maln achigvements of the Charity
Our Children and Youth virtual classes have been fun. interactive, and dynamic. The teachers responsible for
every age group have found unique, engaging, and diverse ways lo explore the curriculum with the youths in
these unique circumstances, whilst empowering them lo share and exchange with one another confidently.
Financial revlew
• Golng con¢ern
After making appropriate enquiries, the Trustees have a reasonable expeclatson that the Charity possesses
sufficient resour¢es lo continue operating for the foreseeable future. Therefore, they maintsin the going concem
basis in preparing the financial slalemenls. Further details about the adoption of the going concern basis are
provided in the accounting policies.
• Reserves pollcy
It is the Church's policy that unrestricted funds not allocated for a specific purpose should be maintained al a
level equivalent lo between three and six months, expenditure. The Trustees believe that reserves at this level
will ensure that, in the event of a significant decline in funding, they can sustain the Church's current activities
while exploring options to raise additional funds. This level of reserves will always be upheld.

General Information
The Great Divine Holy Order of the Third Era is a Charitable Incorporated Organisalion registered in
England under number CE022234 and charity number 1190014. The registered office is siluated at Trinity
House, 3 Bullace Lane, Dartford, Kent, DA1 18B.
countlng policies
2.1 Basis of preparatlon of finan¢lal statements
The financial sialemenls have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 102}
Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland (FRS 1021 leffeclive 1 January 20191, the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Charities Act 2011.
The financial slalemenls have been prepared lo give a 'lrue and fairf view and have departed from
the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only lo the exlenl required lo provide a 'true
and fairf view. This departure has involved following the Charities SORP IFRS 102} published in
October 2019 rather than the Accounling and Reportin9 by Charities.. Statement of Recommended
Practice effective from 1 April 2005 which has since been withdrawn.
The Great Divine Holy Order of the Third Era meets the definition of a public benefit entity under FRS
102. Assets and liabililies are instially recognised al historical cost or transaction value unless
otherwise slated in the relevant accounb'ng policy.
2.2 Income
All income is recognised once the Charity has entillemenl lo the income, il is probable that the
income will be received and the amount of income receivable can be measured leliably.
Income tax Tecoverable in relation lo investment income is recognised at the time the investment
income is receivable.
2.3 Expenditure
Expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or constructive obligation to transfer economic benefit
to a third party, il is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and
the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is classified by acb'vily. The costs
of each activity are made up of the lotsl of direct costs and shared costs, including support costs
involved in undertaking each activity. Direct costs attributable lo a single activity are allocated directly
lo that aclivily. Shared costs which contribute lo more than one activity and support costs which are
not attributable lo a single activity are apportioned between those a¢livilies on a basis consislenl wrth
the use of resources. Central s18ff costs are allocated on the basis of time spent, ar*d depreciation
charges allocated on the portion of the asset's use.
Expenditure on charitable activities is incurred on directly undertaking the activities which further the
Charills objectives. as well as any associated support costs.
All expenditure is inclusive of irrecoverable VAT.
2.4 Interest recelvable
Interest on funds held on deposit is included when receivable and the amount can be measured
reliably by the Charity.. this is normally upon notification of the interest paid or payable by the
inslilulion with whom the funds are deposiled.

2.S Cash at bank and in hand
Cash at bank and in h8nd includes cash and short-lemi highly liquid investments with a short maturity
of three months or less from the date of acquisilioll or opening of the deposit or similar account.
2.6 Liabilities and provisions
Liabilities are recognised when there is an obligalioll al the Balance sheet dale as a result of a past
event, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefit will be required in settlement, and the amount
of the settlement can be estimated reliably.
Liabilities are recognised al the amount that the Charity anticipates il will pay to sellle the debt or the
amount it has received as advanced payments fof the goods or services it must provide.
Provisions are measured al the best eslimale ol the amounts required lo settle the obligation. Where
the effect of the time value of money is material. the provision is based on the present value of those
amounts, discounled al the pre-tax discount rate that reflects the risks specific to the liability. The
unwinding of the discoLtnt is recogllised in the Statement of financial activities as a finance cost.
2.7 Flnanclal instruments
The Charity only has financial assets and financial liabilities of a kind that qualify as basic financial
inslrumenls. Basic financial instruments are initially recognised al transa¢lion value and subsequently
measured al their settlement value with the exception of bank loans which are subsequenuy
measured al amortised cost using the effective interest method.
2.8 Fund accountlng
General funds are unreslricled funds which are avallable for use al the discretion of the Trustees in
furtherance of the general objectives of the Charity and which have not been designaled for other
purposes.
Investment income, gains and losses are allocaled to the appropriate fund.
