Following the tharitvs success in ts¢kling the town'5 needs during the Covid-19 pandemic, and
havlng identified the extent of social isolation. loneliness and vulnerability amon8St atizens of the
town, we continue to art as a catalyst and co-ordinator to promote a wide range of activities to
support the needs of vulnerable groups in Kenllworth, drawing together a cornmunity response
Includin8 the involvement of other local charltles. Connpctin8 people in this way, not only makes for
a happier exlstence. but P05itlvely Impacts both their mentd and physical health outcomes.
Review of

Compasslonate Kenilworth, d￿Ven by a collectlve desire to combat sodal Isolation observed during
the response to the Covid-19 pandemlc, has become a beacon of hope& establishing various
educational and sodal cafes to address community isolation. These indLtde bereavement cafes,
teeh/digital support hubs, and dinner and music sesslons, all aimed at connerting people in need.
Durin8 the year, we created 185 Social isolation hubs with 4,432 attendances, provided emergency
food to over 100 families, and beneflted from 32 tralned Voluntee￿ who provlded 5,700 hour5 of
voluntsrywork.
Future
The group will continue its community work, by continuing to establlsh. develop and encourage
activities to provide motivation and encouragement to Kenilworth citizens aimed at improving
quality of life, particularly amorEst elderly and vulnerable communities.

Fundlng for operations ha5 come from public donations. contributlons from Servi￿ users and grant5.
Operational costs include the provision of supplies, volunteer expenses. cost of two paid staff,
telephone and IT costs and insurance. At 31 March 2025. funds in hand totslled £37,010.

ENDEO 31 MARCH 2025
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity forthe period
ended 31 March 2025.
As the charity trustees. you are resp)nsible for the prepaTation of the accounts in accordance with
the requlrements of the Charities Art 20111.the Acri.
I report in respect of my examination of the charity accounts carried out under sectlon 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the
Charity Commission under section 145(5)Ibl of the ACL I have completed my examinatK>n.
I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examlnatlon
which 8ives me Cause to believe that in, any materlal respert..
accounting recoTds were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or
the accounts do not accord wlth the accounting records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examlnatlon to
which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understsndl￿x of the accounts to be
reached.
