Activities

Whilst our remit will eventually be much wider, we are initially focused on the support of care leavers and this will remain so for the foreseeable future (until our resources and infrastructure grow). Care leavers are children as young as 16, who leave local authority care (such as foster care, children homes or supported accommodation).

Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of The Community, In Particular But Not Exclusively Of Young People Who Have Lived In Residential Care, With A View To Ensuring These People Are Equipped With The Necessary Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals By:1. The Relief Of Financial Hardship, In Particular By Providing Financial Support And Monetary Grants For Essential Everyday Items2. The Advancement Of Education And Training Of Those In The Community Who Are In Need Thereof So As To Advance Them In Life And Assist Them To Adapt Within The Wider Community 3. The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Those Persons Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances
