4. Activities and objectives
Our aims were to continue our online Chatty events during uncertainty around covid measures and give people a space to socialise and connect with others. Then we hoped lockdown restrictions might lift and that we could return to face-to-face events.
5. Achievements and performance
We ran 2 Chatty events in this financial year and then as lockdown restrictions lifted, we found it difficult to get attendees for online events, and also found there was anxiety around face-to-face events.
After two face-to-face events co-organised with North London Cares and their client group in August and November, the charity didn’t run any more events.
The trustees met and agreed to take time to pause and reflect as it had become more difficult to run events and the capacity of the trustees had become limited due to our
full-time work and personal issues. There have been no events since this meeting and won’t be for the foreseeable future.
6. Annual accounts
There was only one income and one expenditure in this financial year.
Income – Donations from 2 Chatty events - £92
Expenditure – Website fee to Squarespace - £120
Overall – Loss of £28
