Masjid Aisha Trustees Report for the year endlng 30 June 2024 The trustee5 present their report with the f1nancial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 June 2024 Objectives and prln¢lpal actlvltles The Objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit'.- to advance the Islamic religion in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammed Ipea¢e be upon him) and his companions according to the interpretation and accepted view of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa-ah and a5 expounded by the Salafus Saaliheen (Pious Predecessors),. and to further Islamic educatlon including the teaching of the Arabic language. Actlvltles and progre55 The charity carrie5 Out Islamic education in pursuance of its charitable aims. The trustees consider that these activities, summarised below. provide benefit both to those who worship at our Mosque and the wider community of Leicester. Our Mosque provide5 a centre for our prayers and worship for the activities a550Clated wlth our faith. During the year under review, we offered a range of religiou5 5ervice5 as follows.. Five tlmes prayers are held every day The Friday serrnon and prayer5 are held every week. Education and training is provided for the youth Islamic Wedding5- Nlkah services are offered Funeral assistance is provided a5 and when needed Daily advices take place on Qurfan, Hadith 2nd spiritualitv Extra prayers are conducted in the month of Rarnadan as well as the two festlvals of Eid. Occasional youth programs take place on different theme5 like addirtion, charity, current issues etc. External speakers are invited to deliver Speeches and presentations on a wide range of topics. Our hall Is hSred out to the mernber5 of the community for their family functions, graduations etc. Local charities, MG05 and comrllunlty groups have access to our facilities for meetings, communlty discussions etc. This year we also installed solar panels to help reduce running costs and help the environment. Recrultment and Appolntment of Trustees The charity is governed by a board of trustees drawn from the local community. This is to ensure that the board has the skills and experience required to oversee the management of the charity and its operations. The charSty trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give their time freely and recelve no remuneration or other financial benefits.

Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance wilh General Directions given examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review ofthe accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
