## **EASTBOURNE YOUTH ARTS FOUNDATION FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 APRIL 2025** 

Chairman`s report to the 30[th] April 2025 

Further to my report last year, once again there has been limited activity in the period covered by this report. 

Our fundraising activities continued but we had to cancel a couple of fund raising events due to lack of ticket sales resulting from a lack of visibility within the local community. The committee have discussed this in some detail regarding how we, as a fund raising charity raise our profile and generate interest in the evening and weekend events that we would like to put on. 

The web site is up and running and we have some events later in the calendar year which we intend to utilise and maximise our profile and see tickets through our Stripe account which we have confirmed is active. 

In the meantime, we organised a charity quiz and raffle fund raising event at a local football establishment in June which raised the sum of £605.00 

I am also pleased to announce that a grant of £300 was made during the period. This was to pay for a student to have a course of guitar lessons.
