**EASTBOURNE YOUTH ARTS FOUNDATION FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 APRIL 2024** 

Chairman`s report to the 30[th] April 2024 

Further to my report last year, once again there has been limited activity in the period covered by this report. 

Our fundraising activities continued but we had to cancel a couple of fund raising events due to lack of ticket sales resulting from a lack of visibility within the local community. The committee have discussed this in some detail regarding how we, as a fund raising charity raise our profile and generate interest in the evening and weekend events that we would like to put on. 

The web site is up and running and one decision we decided was to open and attach a Stripe account so that donations and ticket sale purchases could be made directly through this avenue. 

This proved worthwhile with our first event being the big sing event held on the 13[th] December 2023. Advertised through the website with Stripe allowed ticket sales to be made online. The resultant show made a profit of £848.00 which is an encouraging start to what we hope will be further encouraging fund raising efforts. 

No grants were made in the period detailed.
