In part this was due io the charity not having a Bank account wirh which to operate from. preventin8 the set up ol a fund raising page on the website. An issue compounded by the resignalton of the existing Treasurer and the Banks failure and inability to amend the account. Sadly no grants were made in the linancial year. however we were able to fund raise through the Eastbourne Town 8id Team to run a fund raiser at the santa s Brollo al the Christmas ice rink during the festive peTiod in the run up to Christmas 2021which raised an amazing £1381.75 Now that the trustee s have opened a new Bank account with a new Pfovider our fund raisin8 elfort5 can cornmence in earnest in the next financtal year. The account detai15 will be added to the web5jte 6nd a fund raising manager appointed in iheir new role. i iherefore have great hope for ihe loreseeable futLtre on the charity Sign........
