**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO WHICH ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING :TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC AND IN PARTICULAR IN CHORAL SINGING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN THROUGH THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE LANCASTER &amp; DISTRICT SCHOOLS&#x27; SINGING FESTIVAL, ITS AFFILIATED CHOIRS AND RELATED MUSICAL EVENTS.

**Activities:** The LDSSF started over 74 years ago as an annual event bringing local schools together for concert performances. The festival develops annual programmes for KS1 and KS2 pupils.  The content of the programmes look at the advancement of education, arts, culture, heritage and mental wellbeing of children, with the benefits of singing and music making.  The festival is inclusive - able and disabled.
