Feedback 1:
“I am Annie. I am in a Home office temporary accommodation at the Osterley park Hotel with my 3 children age 12,10 and 8 nine months old baby. I was privileged to be supported by WHAN organisation with my three children when we came into the country UK. I believe in everything we do should be because of our gratitude for what God has done. And at this junction, I want to express my gratitude to the founder and leader of WHAN organisation Madam Adama Nyama Bah and WHAN organisation as an entity as a whole. These are the following support and impact WHAN organisation makes in me and my children’s life to name but few Supported with cooked meals when I was pregnant and admitted at the guys and st Thomas hospital. WHAN organisation had been there for me when I was constantly tormented by the hospital staff to find somewhere to live with my children as the hospital is not a hotel. WHAN organisation was able to provide me with a legal assistance by putting documents together to help me and my children sort out our immigration problems in the country.
WHAN organisation had a serious fight with the Southwark council to ensured that me and my kids got what rightfully ours. The organisation went ahead and bought baby buggy for my baby and also sometimes supported us with cook meals at the accommodation home office gave us more so when we had challenges with the hotel food at the initial stay in the hotel, it really makes a difference and creates a serious impact in our lives and we are thankful for your help, it wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Long live the founder and leader of WHAN long live WHAN

Feedback 3:
My name is Aissatou and I currently live in Birmingham. I come with this little message to express my gratitude to the Women's Health Advocacy Network (WHAN). I thank God today since meeting WHAN over 2 and a half years ago now from 2022 to the present. Despite the ups and downs I went through. Thank you for the efforts made by this organization. Today, I have become a woman like all other women. Thanks to you I became what I am today. Thanks to WHAN I feel safe, peaceful life, healthy, happy, thank you for changing my life. Thanks to you and your support and help my life to change a lot. only God can reward you. Thank you for everything. I will remain eternally grateful. I am starting to regain my (mental) health. I have a psychological therapist who follows me. I am in college to improve my level in English. I am recognized as a refugee by the British government. I have certain rights.
I could just quote that
I would have loved to be with this organization which has done me so much good and which still continues to delight me today. But unfortunately for me, they don't have a place to stay at the moment. I encourage all women to join WHAN for their well-being. Grant Making Policy
The charity makes grant to individuals who are victims of domestic violence both within and outside the United Kingdom. The charity supports other charities and missionaries that share its objectives in advancement of education and training for the public highlighting domestic and sexual violence against women and girls.
Volunteers
The charity is grateful to the unstinting efforts of its volunteers who are involved in providing services for the charity.
Review of Activities
The charity continues to enjoy tremendous growth in its physical and mental capacity during the year, and in the advancement of women health in accordance with the charity strategy document as contained in our Trust Deed. The charity continues to progress in its search for a permanent building to screen and process victims while waiting for help from the relevant authority.
Investment Policy
The trustees' have decided that at present, funds should be retained in Banks and Building Societies, and as far as possible in interest bearing accounts.
Reserves Policy
The trustees' policy is to have unrestricted and uncommitted funds (free reserves) to cover 3 to 6 months of resources expended which equals to roughly £16,000 to £32,000 in general funds. The Trustees feel that this would enable the current activities to continue if there is a significant drop in funding. It would obviously be necessary to then consider how the funding would be replaced or activities changed. The trustees are continuing to seek additional unrestricted funds to build up its reserves.
