| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
The fundraising events for the year were severely constrained due to Covid restrictions resulting in the cancelation ofthe annual Shirley Carniva, the Father Christmas on his sleigh house to house collection, and the annual Beer Festival. |

| To replace these fundraising events the members held a series |

| drive and plant sales, quizzes and appeals for donations. | ||||
| Covid restrictions also hampered some ofthe projects Lion |

| members are involved in resulting in the cancellation ofour annual |
||||
| Christmas party for local pensioners, and the suspension ofthe |
||||
| spectacle collection and distribution ofthe Lions Message in a |
||||
| Bottle (containing emergency contact details). |

| However we were able to continue to support Young Ambassador ofthe 21"Century via Zoom. This is a competition which |
||||
| recognises and rewards youngsters between the ages of16and |
||||
| 19who have given significant service to their local community. | ||||
| In addition to the above, the club members were very active in |
||||
| making regular food collections with the food (and cash donations) |
||||
| delivered to the local Trussell Trust Foodbank for onward | ||||
| distribution to those in need. During the year food valued at |
||||
| E9,292was donated along with cash sundry cash donations of |
||||
| R184which was able to provide over 5,000meals (using the | ||||
| Trussell Trust calculation). |
