PVCA provides a hub ethos where social
connection5 can be made in a safe and
friendly enviionment.
A range of community ev8nts and activities
were facilitated during the year by our small
ommitlee of 7 trustees and 10 volunteers.
Much of this activity was enabled by
financial support from a BCBC Social
Isolation grant of £IOOO and BAVO Solar
Grant funding of £2.831, both received In
the winler of 2023,
These have helped strengthen our
community by bringing people together,
reducing isolation and fostering
intergenerational relationships.
PVCA has developed a strong relationship
and works closely alongside NHCC
(Newcastle Higher Community Council) to
promote communty wellbeing.
