Worcester Lions Club Charity Trust Fund Icharity number: 510331) Annual report of the Board of Trustees September 2021 Planned Closure of the Charity Trust Fund Effective from the I" July 2020. Worcester Lions Club has reformed as a Charltable Incorporated Organisation (charity number 11897381. As part of this process the Trustees of the Worcester Lions Club Charity Trust Fund agreed that all assets and liabilities of the Charity Trust Fund VA)uld be transferred to the new Charitable Incorporated Organisation and that the Charity Trust Fund would be c105ed down. Thls has now been completed and have been transferred to Wor¢ester Lions Club CIO Annual Revlew to 31 June 2021 The scrutinised annual accounts of Worcester Llons CIO are attached. These show the income received bythe CIO and the disbursements made. The Clubs fundraising attivities have severely curtailed thls year due to the ongoing pandemlc. Thi5 however hasn't stopped it's service and communlty work. The Club has worked tirelessly through the last 12 month5 making a real difference in their community. As the country comes out of the last lockdown the Members are working hard to reinvent service and communityto take into account the developing needs ofthe community. Looking ahead Worcester Lions accept that this will be o difficult year. Fundraising will continue to be a challenge for all charities and we are no different. Hopefully the sleigh will go out this year and early next year looking at Easter Eggs and other smaller ways of fundraising will be on the aeenda. However. Lions a service based organisation and the Club is actively looking for and findin8 new opportunities to forge relationships With local groups and seeking out new areas where we can be of service.
