Youth Leadership and the Youth 8oard'. 2025 saw the creation of Be Free Campalgn's fir3t Youth
Board, open lo young people aged 11 to 21 fn)m across the North West. The Youth Board placed
young peo￿8 et the heart of strategic deasion-maknThJ. shaping programme direction, Snfluencing
organisational cultur6, and holding the tharityto account Thi8 shfft in power resulted in moré
relevant, trusted, and •ffo¢tive supwt.
Dired Programme Delivery.. The charity reached 2.384 young pewe through dir9Ct deltvery
across community settings, with programmes tailored for 098 groLFPS spanning ￿11, 11-18.
16-18, and 1&25. A significant proportson of those supwrted were from racialised or
marginalised communities, and many were limng in areas ¥￿thin the highest 10% of deprlvation

Youth Guarantee Scheme Partnership: Be Free Campaign was named 8 delivery partner of the
Youth Guarantee Scheme across Ltverpool Cty Regi￿, supporting young people who are not
currèntIy in aducation. employment, or training. The chaiity adopted the lemi LEET (Looking for
Education, Employment, or Training) lo challengg the stigma émbedded in the tem) NEET and lo
better reflect the effort young people are genuinety maklng. This partnership enabled thè charity lo
ach young peopl8 who may otherwise never have a￿Sed mental health support, tackling rcot
eauses Including uncertainty, isolatic￿, and lack of optmjtunty.
Volunteoring and Community Engagement: Over 200 people applied to volunteer Imth Be Fre8

mlsslon. Volunteers were central lo the charitys capachy to reach young people at scale. Many
