The Trustees are committed to this work and to make il a welcoming place to visit. One notable item was th8 underground Bowls Green spnnkler system pipe which stsrted leaking, the Trustees felt it would be best to replace the whole underground sprinkler pip8 System, rather than repair the 'pework wth the possibility of further failure and leaks. The heating sy8t8m review at the front was completed with the replacement of the heating boiler along with the replament of the main gymnastics hall heating whid) 18 now an air source heating system. A new control system was finished for the water and heating boi18r. The café heating to radiators is to be reptaced with the air source heating system. Due to the cost of the heating system the Parish Council the Freeholder of the building assisted wrth grants to support the heating improvements. A further projed for the upgrade for the tr4VO of toilet systems was started this project was for a complete redeSn of the tailS to all for an accessible t{le1 in each of the two toilet facilrties. Financial Review Review of the charfty's Ilnanclal position at tho end of the p•rfod SOFP Parn 1.21 A key financial decision the Trustees had to make was the registration for VAT with the rolling 12 month income approaching the VAT threshold for registration thIch was going to be unavoidable. Registration for VAT was mad eady In January 2024. The impact for VAT registration was that fr(xn the point of registration had to apply VAT to all the hirers and Licensees.
