## Aims and objectives 

Yeovil Art Space is a charitable organisation and a creative hub in Yeovil, which aims to bring art and creativity to the local community and visitors. Projects are run in partnership with organisations, businesses, groups and individuals to provide arts and cultural activities for people of all ages. Activities include participatory events, learning workshops, art exhibitions and showcasing work in other locations in the town. 

## Charitable objects 

For the public benefit the advancement of education in the arts in Yeovil and surrounding areas through the provision of visual arts, including but not limited to digital, moving image, 2D & 3D contemporary art and design. 

Activities 2020-2021

YAS reaches more than 5000 people through its activities despite of Covid19 restriction, including: 

Summer School for 13 Young people (13-17) 

Yeovil Window Wanderland distributed 500 free activity pack and reaches more than 4000 visits. 

Together We Are Stronger engaged with 25 local elderly and care home staff and residents, 1500 primary students, 13 early teen and 15 artists 

Yeovil Mini Creatives provides 500 families free activity booklet Job opportunity for 6 Creatives

## 1. Receipts & payments accounts 

Receipts and payments accounts are statements that summarise the movement of cash into and out of the organisation during the financial year.  In this context “cash” includes cash equivalents, for example, bank accounts where cash can be readily withdrawn to pay for debts as they become due.

## 3. Organisational Development Fund 

Income of £7,000 was from a proportion of a Covid Business Grant received by Eastville Project Space Ltd, a company who shared the same premises (Between 1 June 2020 and 31 March 2021) and were entitled to claim for the grant as rate payer and lease holder.  Trustees agreed to allocate the grant funding for the associated costs for organisational development and Yeovil Creatives artist networks.
