Achievements and perfomiance
We continue to maintain, and where necessary replace. the 34 Public Access Defibrillators that
we have installed in Portishead and surrounding villages and continue to raise public awareness
regarding their location and use.
During December 2024 we raised over £10,000 from our Santa float and activities at the
Portishead Street fair. We held two suc￿Ssful car boot sales during 2024125 and raised funds
from our Easter float and flamingos. We also had a successful collection of supplies for Ukraine
and raised more than £1000 in donations.
Donations given and services provided during the year include ongoing monthly support to the
Portishead food bank, maintenance support to the Portishead Youth and Community Centre,
and the provision of financial and practical support to many other local individuals and
organisations. In addition. we have supported appeals made by Lions Club Intemational
Foundation for donations to support worldwide disasters and emergencies, including providing
donations to support people in Ukraine.
